PANNÓNIA PARK: The park is situated two kilometres from the hotel and offers a wide variety of excellent facilities for rest both for children and grown-ups: children's corner, an exhibition of motorcycles, sand football, quad rent, a small bar.

ADRENALIN PARK: The highest bob-sleigh route in Hungary is situated 12 km far from our hotel. The route is 930 metres long and was opened in 2006. Some other facilities - including special wall for mountain-climbing, suspended bridge, quad route and children's corner - offer you exciting amusement.

ILONA VALLEY: The entrance to the valley begins from the hand-crafted wooden gates. You can have a nice walk in the beatiful surroundings of the wild forest along a small river until You arrive to an 8 metre waterfall. 

RECSK NATIONAL MEMORIAL PARK: In the period of communism there was a forced labour camp in the stone mine of Recsk, where a number of people died from the inhuman treatment and heavy conditions. The memorial park induces shocking impression due to realistic representation of the former brutality.

SÁS LAKE: The highest lake of Hungary is situated near Mátrafüred. It is a nice starting point for pleasurable strolls and walking tours and provides beautiful panorama of the vicinity. The lake found its new shape in 1960 and today it is one of the favourite places of rest. You can go fishing and boating there. Just near there is an old derrick from where after the reconstruction You can have a nice look on the Matra mountains.

KÉKESTETŐ MOUNTAIN: It is the highest point not only in the Mátra mountains, but also in the country as well (1014 metres). It is situated at a distance of 22 km from Parádfürdő, along the highway, but the access is also provided by the tourist road across the woods. A big symbol stone painted in the national flag colours attracts a lot of visitors and in the nearby cafe You can visit an exhibition of mini bottles. Among 7000 exhibits there are diferent shaped bottles: a grape, a foot ball, chess-mans, etc. In winter time You can enjoy skiing on the nearby slopes. 

SIROK CASTLE: The castle was built before 1320 at a height of 276 m above the village. both the wall sections of the lower castle and the castle well can be seen and there is a passage carved into the rocks, leading to the upper castle. Important programmes of the settlement:the castle days of sirok (at the third weekend of June), crafts camp of fine arts (in the first two weeks of July), international motorcyclists meeting ( the last week of July) and the national meeting of folk choirs ( 20th August).

EGERSZALÓK: The pride of the village is the well-known thermal spa and natural salt aggregation. The thermal water contains natrium, calcium-magnesium, hydrogen-carbonates and silica. The quality of the thermal water is high; it is very high ranked among sulphur contained thermal waters. It is medically proven that, among other things, the water is well suited for post-treatment of bone injuries or rheumatism.
