Walk, Hike, Bike

We would like to help you explore the heart of the Mátra around Erzsébet Park Hotel in your own way and at your own pace. Hungary's best-known hiking trail, the 1,160-km long blue hiking tour crosses the Mátra. You get a very different view of things on a walking, hiking or trekking tour. Discovering the countryside at your own pace, on foot, you will get to know the place intimately and absorb the sights, the scents and the atmosphere in a way you never could behind the wheel of an automobile. Hikers can conquer the highest peak of Hungary, the 1014-meter-high Kékestető, and they can also explore the amazing 6.5 km long Ilona valley geology pathway, which presents the geological values of the Mátra along the Ilona Stream. The hotel regularly organizes a guided tour, where guests can get to know Parádfürdő and its surroundings at a comfortable walking or Nordic walking tour.

All that remains is to view our selection of sights on the map and decide what appeals to you most!
